Malaysian Trip

How ironic I'm blogging about this Malaysian trip right before my next Malaysian trip. It seems this entire december I'm spending more than half the time in my various Malaysian trips.

Right after Prom pathetic me couldn't go post prom with the crowd cause I had to go back to Muar to pray at my grandfather's new grave at like friggin 4am... then after returning home on the same day at like 10pm, i frantically packed and left for Genting with CG 13/06 at like 7am. Yawns... so exhausting.

Da girls on the trip, Brenda, May, Joann, Ciyuan and Me!

And of course the guys... Songxi, Yenyang, Jie Sheng, Wei Kian plus Weiming and Derrick whom are not in this photo.

We got so bored on the six hour trip we started playing blackjack, indian poker... whatever crap we thought of and made the losers... ENTERTAIN!!!!

It seemed like the journey was never gonna end but FINALLY... we got there. Alas, our wait wasn't over. There were so many freakin people we had to wait like TWO HOURS just to check in. HOW EFFICIENT! But thank god we had... cause guess who we met at Starbucks while waiting?

Look at the person behind!!!

Ahahahah! Its Elvin Ng!!!!! WE MET ELVIN NG IN GENTING!!!!!!! Woohoo! Then we all went to take pictures with him... think he was a little shocked. People... do vote for him for Star Awards... he's Soooooo cute!

Our room was like freakin small... but the view was fantastic... it was like we were living on clouds.

After dinner we decided to split up. Originally, Songxi, Yenyang, Jie Sheng, May and me wanted to go kboxing, but since it was happy hour and so damn expensive... we decided on a much cheaper activity... to walk in the fog.

It was freakin cold but its really nice... especially with two steaming cups of starbucks. Really should try it... something you'll never get in S'pore.

The two stupid guys wanted to take a picture of them blowing vapour from their mouths... but the vapour didn't appear... so the picture turned out kinda... ODD...

Later we met up with the rest to go to Cloud9 and Sportsbook to drink.

The place was really nice and the drinks really pretty... but the service kinda sucked. And the guys were totally weird... they ordered RED WINE! At a bar... like???

We woke up early to go to the theme park the next morning, but it was super cold and it was raining. And majority of the rides were closed.

Boohoohoo! We can't go themepark!!!!!

Joann, me and Songxi on the water rides. We made Songxi sit in front to block the water.

Joann, may and me on the space shots. THIS RAWKS!!!!!

I think the theme park really brings out the kid in everyone. You'll find some people unexpectedly are afriad of rollercoasters... while some behave like small kids running around to the next rides.

On the last day... we went down to KL and shopped at Sungeiwang and Times Square! FINALLY time for me to shop! Wee!

I think the guys were kinda cause we shopped for super long and especially at me cause when they asked if we should split up i shouted, "Of course!" But hey... I was fighting for everyone's rights. It didn't neccessarily mean that we split girls and guys... we could mix... furthermore... i didn't think they wanted to tag along while we shopped... they will die of boredom. Besides... its better to shop without hassle and without looking at their faces. I know this all to well. So, I don't think its really my fault. All the girls had a spendid time shopping without the guys.

Anyway... Christmas decors are up in Times Square already. Look at the gorgeous Christmas tree!

There was a Barbie exhibition in Times Square so all of us decided to relieve our childhood fantasies. By taking pictures with barbie and ken!

Imagine what it would be like to live in Barbie land... hmmm

And so somewhat like that... we ended our trip... although it wasn't a perfect trip... some unpleasant moments, some talking behind backs... some conflicts... I guess it was fun in the end. Perhaps the most fun memory CG 13/06's ever had.

So dear friends... hope we stay in contact...

On Prom Day...

TJC had our prom on the 4th of December at Marina Mandarin Hotel. I suppose it was not bad, although it wasn't as wild as Nanyang's one, much more sophisticated obviously, it was nice to catch up with friends, say goodbyes and take photos with everyone at their best.

Me, May and Yulin started by going to Hollywood's secret for hair and make-up

Love this guy, he totally rawked our hairs

Before...

And after...

Hollywood secret's turned out to be a whole nanyang gathering haunt. Met Kaixuan, Yiting, Tricia, Kim, Aiwen, Ever and many other Nanyang girls. Plus the TJ gang that was there, I practically knew the entire room. Wahaha!
Eleven years of being BESTIES!!!!!!! Woohoo! Glad to see her at HS... although she kinda copied me by booking when i told her I booked there. Haha.

Justine and her friends came to HS too!

Finally arriving at Marina Mandarin-- Me, Yulin and May! Really glad I had them in CG13, they were the ones who made CG13 more tolerable. :)

Everyone was in a photo taking freny once we got there. Absolutely insane.

Kamun was gorgeous that night. Much credit really goes to her for holding our HC up. You go girl!

Li Hao aka Kamun's bf. Although his jokes were really cold, it was still funny nonetheless. I really nice and caring guy... esp to Kamun. Haha! Hope you guys live happily every after.

Our clique with Ida and Swee Huang. Swee Huang's a really nice person which I got to know better through PW, dutiful and always produces the best work, on time. Still, she can be fun and spontaneous when she needs to. Ida, the ice queen, always appears to be super cold to other people, but glad a got to talk to her a little on our way home when we take the same bus. She's not really that cold as other people think.

Weikian... ah... how should I put it. We just bicker all the time. Kinda think he's irritating at times cause he just can't mince his words and sometimes hurt with his insults. But other than that... he's a pretty nice fella... especially to... ehhem...

Xinhui-- Miss our shopping, gossiping, K boxing, starbucking sessions. Still remember our studying sessions where we study one hour and shop the rest away... and how we gave waiters a hard time... although we're not so close now... really had fun with you. :)

THE POWERPUFF GIRLS!!!!! Yanning, me and Amanda. Really lurve you girls, I think you guys really made my JC life!

My BESTIE WENHUI! Think TJ has been different cause I had you! Someone to sulk and pout and show sides I don't usually show when I'm unhappy. Really glad I have you!

Wenhui, Mingwei and me. We really should photoshop Miaohua in. The six eleven gang in TJ. Kinda weird now though that miao went to poly then went to work... and then the whole quarreling thing, and sometimes see Mingwei in school also seldom talk... But anyways... I think he looked like some HK actor called Guo Jing An that night.

CG 13/06. Although it isn't as fun as I expected... I guess it was a not bad class. Despites our conflicting charactors... we had fun occassionally.

Powerpuff girls have the same shoes! Haha.

HC with more people. Really love alpha HC!!!!!

Yulin, me, yingqi and bek. Four pathetic soccer girls to take soccer photo.

Me and yinglin. The red packets. haha.I really love her dress. so hot!

Prom was not bad... but too bad I had to cab home with huiqi when others were out at post prom. :(

Sorry to those I didn't post your pics... got abit tired of posting... can link to my webshots to see...

Turns out post A levels isn't as relaxing as I thought it would be. In fact, my life is more hectic than ever. Five trips to Far East, Three to Marina, Three to Bugis... where else in Singapore is there for me to shop... with exception of Vivo of course... which I can never ever find anything worth buying.
I feel super accomplished after helping many friends chose dresses, styles, accessories and more. Really looking foward to seeing them at prom later. But I've gotta admit, going through the same process of rummaging through far east for dresses with six friends is really taxing. Glad though that I finally found my one and only.

Of course... then comes the whole frenzy over shoes, earrings, necklaces, hair accessories and more. Luckily, with the help of may, I set my mind and swooped everything from far east in one day. But alas... there still leaves the mani, pedi, facials, eyebrow plucking, waxing, exfoliating, hair and makeup... (Which we booked at Hollywood Secrets at Paragon for $65!!!! So exciting)

The list goes on and sometimes I really wonder why we go through so much trouble. Does it really make alot of difference if your toe nails are pink or red? Or if your clutch really matches your dress?

Still... bad habits die hard and girls can never escape the vicious clutches of vanity.
But thinking of prom gives me a headache. After these last few hours of comfort which I can relaxingly stone in front of my com, watch youtube and blog about dumb stuff... i will be thrown in to a whirlwind of activities.
