Day 1

Titans and Sports carn officially kicked off today. I originally wanted to down and support soccer finals but in the end i was too busy helping out with SC investiture and titans that i didn't have time.

Kinda sad they lost. Heard it was kinda foul.

Titans really shocked me today, i really witnessed the will power of these athletes that wowed me. I was one of the water stations so me, Hafiz and Anh took some glucose water to somewhere near chai chee sec and to cheer them on.

Quite soon after we arrived, we saw Rabu and Yong Qi racing each other back. They were like super super fast lah! Soon after we saw a few more other houses people followed by Jon, Wilson, Ben and the rest.

Three cheers for Yong Qi who came in second, Jon, Wilson and Ben who were 5th, 6th and 7th, Ying Huan who was the 2nd girl and all alpha titans who completed the 5km run.

Then we had the other stations. First was squat thrust which was most number you could do in three minutes or something like that. Really hard but they did really well. Then there was also the sit- ups. Jon was really upset then cause he did alot but there were loadsa no counts. Special mentions to Hui Ru who did a whooping 98 sit- ups!!!!! That's like really shocking for a girl. I helped her press down her feet and timed her and she just pressed on throughout. I felt as if i was doing the 98 with her and cheered her on.

Next was shuttle run where they had to run to and fro for like 800m. Yenliang who subed Jia Yi, Yong Qi and Ben Lau were super fast, chionged all the way. Wilson ran the whole thing with this stupid hairband thing but was still super fast. And we all ran back with the last runner, i was a super team spirit moment.

Lastly was pull- ups and chin- ups. We heard that delta guys did an average of three or four for pull ups but other than one guy who did one, other mostly did more than ten and a few up to like twenty or something. We all counted for them and went like " Uuuuuupppppp!" The girls rawked too! They did super alot of chin- ups. Especially cheryl, she did like... err... 35 or more. Can't remember. Peiwen was super pissed of cause she did alot already then they said her thumbs were in so it was no counts. Anyway, they were super impressive.

Day 2

Sports carn activities started early in the morning with the 290 run ended and all. Went for Hip hop in the morning. Quite interesting, but i daresay... i SUCKED! Then i quickly ran off to play captains ball as there weren't enough subs.

It was really interesting cause our team was somewhat anyhow throw in and we didn't really know each other. It was me, Kenneth (The kesleen's ex who went after Xiangting), Chaw Meng (Pulled in by Kenneth), Song Xi (Pulled by me) Lynn and Seline (Who were just there at that time.) Surprisingly... we were rather good. Maybe cause Song Xi's really tall, Kenneth's a vball player and Chaw Meng's a bballer. We totally thrashed everyone else throughout round robin until Song Xi pangsehed us to go for badminton finals. Then Aloysius took over and we weren't so good cause he's not tall enough... but still good.

THen we got into semis where jon took over aloysius and we won the other team by a little. But still... WE GOT INTO FINALS!!!!! Haha... our lao pok rojak team! Can you believe it?

Anyway, cabbed down with nat and her friends to badminton finals. Lost like shit. And then bussed back for titans. They did logging today and seriously... it was horrendously cruel. Even for supporters. They had to do log lifts where they lift it over their head left and right, Sit up with logs on their stomachs, lie down and push up the logs, Squat with the log on one shoulder and curl their biceps with the log on it. We did fairly well and we even doubled last years record with our squats. A cool 948!!!!! Beta was shockingly strong today and beat us by a little on overall. I still can't figure out how they did the 700+ situps.

Anyway, everyone's really nervous about the final day... where our fate will be decided.

Day 3

Last day of sports carn. Day was kicked off with a retarded rapping competition where almost everyone except Guoping and Alvin impromptued. Then we went off to play foosball. My team consisting of Aloy, Ben Lau, Yen Liang, me and Anh lost. Our competitor was super strong larh! However, Yulin, Hui Qi, Aloy, Kenneth and Chaw Meng's team went all the way to semis and lost. Then I went for salsa but I was sooooo tired from standing under the sun i just sat it out with Xiangting and we lay down and slept in the hall. Also played badminton Cher and Alvin. Alvin was surprisingly good.

Wanted to go for lunch later but we couldn't go out and canteen had no more food so i settled for a sandwich. So pathetic right? Then, rushed off to sub in soft tennis. Our team was quite pro cause we had Benjamin from squash, and this other guy, Yen Liang was good too (He's like good in everything) and we had SC amelia and Niying from bball. We went into semi's without me even playing. Haha! Then, me and Niying played women doubles in semis and won narrowly, but then i rushed off for capt ball finals (continue from yesterday) and they lost overall.

I almost freaked out when they called for us to gather and all the people weren't there. After a while, Seline and Lynn appeared but Kenneth and Chaw Meng and the Joshua guy who was subing Jon (who was in titans) was nowhere to be found. I called kenneth like five times or something and his friend shu said he probably fainted in the toilet or something before he finally appeared. Whew!

Anyway, we played against Shaik's team with pro peeps like Ash, imran, Khairul and two other girls and we tied with them by the end of the game and had a three minute extention. The guys almost fought cause Khairul and imran were rather rough and Chaw Meng kept dribbling the ball. (Always the problem with basketballers playing capt ball) But anway, by the end of the game, the guys were super pissed off. It was a close fight so I didn't really know who won so I turned and asked kenneth. " Hey... who won?" He replied "What do you think?" in an ultra angry tone i thought we lost. Then i asked Lynn too and she said she thinks we lost too so I was super upset.

Later, I walked past the street soccer court and met Derrick and Weiming. Apparently they won street soccer then i told them we lost capt's ball. But derrick said "But Chaw Meng told us you all won?"

Huh? What the hell? Then I asked him more and he refused to tell me. Stupid Derrick! Anyways... rushed down to support titans. Super busy that day lah! They just finished their 7km run and i heard that Jon fainted. He was super sad when i saw him, felt kinda bad but I went back to help out for their log throw.

They did alot, broke record again! But cause they dropped the log they had same count as gamma.

Last event was log relay where they had to carry the log and run across the field. We were leading at first but they slowed down when wilson fell halfway running. He was really sad and almost all of them started crying... we thought we lost to gamma for sure.

The Alpha spirit was really low before they announced results as if we had lost for sure.

Then prize presentation started. I led the captain's ball team to recieve our prize and got a shock when the presenter passed me a gold cup instead of a silver one. I was like... eh? Didn't we get second? Wahahaha! And we had a whole basket of food too!!!!!

Then, they announced the top ten titans and individual winners and finally top two houses for titans. When they announced that gamma was 2nd, everyone was super shocked. Even the gamma people. We were like... " Oh no! So its either us or Beta."

Then... they announced Alpha and we all screamed for joy, hugged each other and cried. I have never felt so elated, it was like all our hard work really paid off.

Of course... we won sports carnival as well. Its truely an alpha year. We won every single event thing year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
