My birthday and HC nominations

Another series of events that made my life super uber hectic...

First of all... last sunday, me, Wenhui, Aiwen and Qiqi finally went out to celebrate my birthday as according to our usual custom.

We decided to go to TCC for dinner. It was delicious, though the portions were a tad small.

We spent the entire evening talking and catching up with each other. That's what I love about us, seven years of being best friends and we still have loads to talk about. Somehow we can not see each other for a super long time and still click as if we were one.

Of course, another major event this week was the HC nominations. Tuesday was the last day for handing in the forms and seriously, there were many surprises. People whom we thought would run didn't, people whom we didn't think would did. We were super worried that the alpha competition would be fierce because we estimated about 30 people to run, in the end, there was only 23 and after a few who pulled out, 19 were left.

But i was quite glad I already knew most of the alpha nominees and we bonded rather fast. Instead of treating each other as rivals, i felt we sincerely wanted all of us to become the next alpha house committee. We even had loadsa fun doing our first assignment. Re- designing the alpha house board. Its gorgeous isn't it?!?!

I can't really say I'm nervous about Wednesday's introduction... just kinda lost about what to do... but anyway... just wait and see...

Sports Day

Whoo hoo! Alpha absolutely rawks man!

Alpha runners really did well this time. We were among top 3 for almost every single event. Even though so, i felt the ocassion was a little too quiet. There was hardly any cheering until the end when we were tying with Gamma for house championships.

Darryl obviously noticed this fact so he kept starting cheers, but all at the wrong time. I think not only us, even the house committee were super irritated with him. He even stood in front with them acting as if he was already part of the house com.

Think the best part was when he wanted to start a cheer and Ben tay shushed him and said... "leave it to us". Wahaha! Damn zai!

But the best part of the whole sports day if the cheerleading competition.

They really practised really hard. And seriously, I felt they were the best. Just that the costume sucked.

Beta was good too! Just that like us, they had horrible costumes.

Then there was Gamma who had both the moves and the costumes. No wonder they won cheerleading championships.

Delta's cheerleading however was a bit of a disappointment. Everyone expected a high standard from them seeing that they were last years champions and Raimi actually carried out all their practices in secret. In the end, the beginning was nice but the stunts were unstable.

But the best thing of all... was ALPHA WINNING SPORT DAY!!!! Woohoo!!!!! Alpha rawks!

I find it absolutely interesting how someone can suddenly drop from HEAVEN to HELL.

That happened to me in just a mere few days... and suddenly, i feel all the joy i experienced the past few weeks swept out of me. I think many people already knew what happened, I did NOT get into SC.

But that wasn't the upsetting fact. If i had lost it fair and square i would probably have fault it on my lack of popularity or such, but because of that FREAKIN' WOMAN. ONE FREAKIN' INCIDENT! All the hard work i put in for the past three weeks were just flushed down the drain.

I lost the SC elections BECAUSE... the teachers decided to not let me in because MS HO filed a report and complained to the entire school admin that i missed one of her lessons.

To think Xiangting and Xinhui still regards her as a nice teacher. I think she's a hypocrite. Does she realise what she's doing screws up my entire life. Perhaps she doesn't have a social life, that is understandable seeing as to how she's always going for lunch alone and doesn't seem to have much friends around.

BUT I'M DIFFERENT!!!!!!!!!

I need my friends, I need my social life, I need my place in SC. Goddamnit! I almost couldave gotta HOUSE CAPTAIN!!!!!!

I was so pissed and so upset the whole of yesterday i just seemed to cry and cry. Thank god daddy was at home and after he talked to me, i realise that perhaps it wasn't the end of the world. Okay... of course its not.

He made me realise my whole aim for going to JC was to head on to my dream universities Stanford and UCLA which i wouldn't get in with like Bs and Cs. So, even though i don't think its very possible, I'm gonna try SUPER HARD to MUG!

Still... thanks to all who voted for me, supported me and helped somehow or other in my campaign.

Even though i'm still super upset, i must admit that before monday, my whole weekend was extremely enjoyable.

Saturday we finally held one CG13 bbq. There wasn't full turnout, but it was quite successful.

Me, May, Xinhui, Xiangting and Waikit went to delifrance for lunch after mass dance. Then, May came to my house to watch [bring it on] .

Yulin brought the others here too!

At about six plus, others started to stream in. Even people no longer in CG 13 came back like Simin and Felicia!

The guys took like one hour to start the fire... so lousy right?

But well... they finally got it going...

We were getting bored after dinner so we decided to go to seven eleven to get some "drinks".

I think we must have been mad to have bought a WHOLE bottle of pure vodka. We sneaked up to the roof top terrace to drink but in the end only Me, Yulin, Derrick and Yen Yang were drinking. The others except May soon left.

It was really fun cause it was the first time I really got to know Derrick and Yen Yang. They started drinking more and started spilling, doing CRAZY stuff which i swore to secrecy. But anyway, even though you guys totally lost your cool that night, I think it was way better than those who were unsporting. And really thanks for finishing the drinks for us. If i drank as much as you guys, i would have done something stupid like jumping off the roof. MAYBE.

Sunday i met up with the six eleven peepz for a sentosa trip.

I first met Qi, Weeshuin and Jelvin at Tampines.

Seriously, all of them were mugging! Even on the train. I felt soooo... guilty.

Then we met up with the rest like Wenhui, Changting (long time no see girl!), Jason and Miao.

We were bored so we started playing lame games like the frog game and they actually ganged up to dunk me in the sea to celebrate my upcoming birthday! Haha!

Woah... this week i would say is really exciting. Loadsa things happened. Elections ended,there was May and Xinhui's birthday... and then there was the long awaited Mardi Gras. In all, despite the morning assembly that continues, the scolding for no reason by the seniors, the horrendous Mass dance test and the boring school life and tests... this week was a blast.

First of all, we went to support the soccer guys at TPJC on monday. They were playing against SAJC and even though the result was quite obvious from the start, we went anyway.

Think i'm starting to get the Xinhui habit of taking cab everywhere. Seriously, i think i took like four of five times of cab this week. Me, Yulin, May and Seodar took cab to TPJC. The first half was absolutely boring, TJC soccer team totally had no spirit. During half time, Mr. Tong scolded them so badly we didn't even dare to cheer but after that and with the changing of players, it was so much better. They were even better than SA in the second half but didn't manage to score at all. Too bad. Ben Tay, Clement, Ronald and the no. 10 was really quite good.

I also saw peepz like Wee shuin, Jelvin, Jon Quek and Joshua Branson at TP.

Then on tuesday was May's birthday.

We bought a chocolate cake for her and gave her this blue halter and underwear.

She was happy cause first time so many people celebrate birthday for her.

Almost the whole class celebrated for her. Think it was quite nice and unexpected.

Hahaz! Aloysius, with our strong prompting gave May a super nice billabong wallet. Actually we only told him she wants a billabong wallet, but he actually knew which one she liked the most. And because of this, the whole class including the second intakers now know about dear aloy and may.

May came to which May happy birthday too!

Finally we got to take class photo. It was really super uber troublesome to get them to do so.

We were slacking around school when we spotted... tada! Cherlyn's "soccer guy".

She totally thinks he's cute, and we totally can't see why. But oh well... like always... Cher has weird taste.

Then we went to pastamania to eat to celebrate May's birthday.

We were super hungry but we had to wait till 2 for the 30% discount so yulin and may almost ate the cheese and tabasco.

Me and Cherlyn also almost died of hunger. See how unhappy we are.

After that we went for mass dance and may went for cheerleading. We decided to help May celebrate once more with the SC nominees and cheerleading people. So after mass dance, we went to cheerleading to wait for may and pulled the others for "dinner". There was me, xt,pz, clovis, jon, wilson, david, carol, yx and we met arvin there too.

Then we got pz to distract May and bring her to buy food while the rest of us went to get the cake. We wanted to light the candles and walk in while singing but after we lighted the candles, it would go out in a few secs.

In the end, we waited till we turned the last corner and lighted the candles again and sang happy birthday while we walked in.

Too bad. By the time the cake was before may, almost all the candles were out and the candles were almost non existent.But still, all of us had fun.

The next day, was xinhui's bdae. We wanted to do the same but there was mass dance test that night so we called everyone to pon CT and celebrate her bdae.

Last of all, was Mardi Gras.

Our class refused to come up with a theme so me, xinhui, may and sharon decided to have our own theme. Okay, but seriously in the end we didn't really look alike.

We looked totally odd when we walked out to the MRT station together cause i was soo... dressed up while she was in t- shirt and demin skrt only.

Clovis totally went back to CNY's red hair day. Took bad he couldn't hang out due to his choir performence.

We met Kenneth, Wilson and Jon too!

Still can't believe that Kenneth was actually the kenneth that Kes brought to my house two years ago. The world is simply so small.

Sharon came to crash again and we met up with Yulin who was also ushering.

Towards the end of Mardi Gras, all of us got tired, so we sat down to rest and i used my fan to cool us down.But wilson wanted it too so i told him to fan himself and us too.
